The Siargao Island Institute of Technology (SIIT), established in 1996 in Dapa, Surigao del Norte, is the leading private college on Siargao Island. SIIT offers Bachelor Programs in Business Administration, Secondary and Elementary Education, Criminology as well as Information Technology. The aim of the school is to provide young people on Siargao and in the Caraga region with access to high quality and practical education.
