CARAGA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (CIT)
CIT is a non-stock, non-profit private institution in Kitcharao dedicated to providing affordable and quality education through results-based instruction, research, and community engagement.
Caraga Institute of Technology (CIT), located in the municipality of Kitcharao, Agusan del Norte, was established in 1993 initially as Agusan Colleges–Kitcharao Campus with a vision to serve indigenous communities, notably the Mamanwa. It gained recognition from CHED in 1996 and later adopted its current name. Today, CIT offers undergraduate and senior high school programs, prioritizing courses such as Elementary Education, Business Administration, and Computer Secretarial, delivered through outcome-based instruction supported by a dedicated faculty and research-informed pedagogy.
