Hinatuan Southern College (HSC), recognized officially as a Local University College (LUC), was founded in 2004 in Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur. The institution emerged from an extension of the University of Southeastern Philippines and has since evolved into a fully-fledged public college offering tuition-free programs. Available degree courses include Business Administration (Financial Management), Elementary and Secondary Education (with majors in English, Mathematics, and Values Education), and Information Technology.
