MANAGEMENT & ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND PROFESSIONAL SKILLS COUNCIL (MEPSC)
MEPSC is a Sector Skill Council under India's Ministry of Skill Development, focusing on creating a competent workforce through training and certification in management and entrepreneurship.
The Management & Entrepreneurship and Professional Skills Council (MEPSC) is a horizontal Sector Skill Council (SSC) established as a Section-8 (Not for Profit Company) under the Companies Act, 2013. Operating under the aegis of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), MEPSC is promoted by the All India Management Association (AIMA), the apex body of management professionals in India.
MEPSC aims to bridge the skill gap in India by developing and implementing National Occupational Standards (NOS) and Qualification Packs (QPs) across various sectors. It targets to train and certify approximately 475,000 trainees and develop over 50 QPs/NOS, along with training more than 550 trainers over the next decade,
Recognized by the National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET) and supported by the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), MEPSC plays a pivotal role in enhancing the employability of the Indian workforce by focusing on both technical and soft skills.
